Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the design, execution and documentation of automated tests for the Autopay Payments Platform as an API-first platform, consisting of Merchant APIs and PSP/Rail APIs, fronted by an API gateway and backed by event-driven microservices on Kubernetes/AWS. The person works closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure the completeness, correctness and overall quality of the testing infrastructure for the products being developed.

Apart from technical knowledge, a degree of independence and proactivity is required. The person holding the position will be expected to leverage their expertise to align to, enhance and harden the testing practices among the entire team. 

• Develop an API-focused testing strategy: deriving tests from API specifications (OAS/RAML), API versioning, optionally – contract testing, 
• Get involved in creating and maintaining test code – either as separate modules or – where applicable – as part of a particular service, 
• Explore, adapt and deploy methodologies and tooling that maximizes the confidence of delivering code compliant with specifications and regulations, 
• Automate backend tests as part of their CI/CD pipeline, 
• Consider the impact of the cloud environment on test performance,
• Consider the asynchronous nature of some data exchange,
• Develop end-user tests for customer-facing portions of the system,
• Develop scenarios driven by user interaction that validate the outcome on the backend side, 
• For end-user tests, consider the variety of user devices and browsers, 
• Develop a framework for documenting problems, reproduction and remediation steps. 

What tools will you be working with?

Requirements and skills we are looking for in a person hired for this role:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and test automation.
• Excellent knowledge of testing methods and techniques: TDD, BDD, functional and non-functional testing. 
• Provent track record of integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines like Github Actions, Gitlab CI/CD, Teamcity etc. 
• Comfortable knowledge of Java programming language and using respective testing facilities (JUnit and/or TestNG, RestAssured, Cucumber, Quarkus continuous testing)

•          communicate with business stakeholders to make sure the product requirements are clearly understood and deliverable,

•       support the members of your team with your expertise and insight when dealing with their current workload,
•       review the work of your team members to ensure a reliable delivery of features in two-week sprints,

We are hiring an APAC Product Owner who owns market-specific product features development and outcomes with ownership of local feature fit, and competitive readiness while leveraging a globally built core platform (developed in Poland). This is a hands-on product execution role that will define what APAC needs, prioritize delivery, drive end-to-end release readiness, and ensure we ship reusable capabilities without fragmenting the global platform.

Responsibilities

1) APAC Product Strategy & Market Fit:

• Own the APAC product roadmap aligned to Autopay’s global platform strategy and commercial targets.
• Develop deep understanding of APAC market dynamics: customer needs, competitor offerings, pricing models, local payment behavior, and regulatory constraints.
• Identify the minimum viable market stack per country (e.g., PSPs, settlement approach, schemes, onboarding flows) and sequence it for fastest time-to-revenue.

 2) Delivery Leadership (Platform + Local Execution):

• Convert market needs into a prioritized backlog: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear definitions of done,
• Decide what must be built globally (core platform capabilities) vs what can be delivered locally (PSP/merchant integrations) and drive execution accordingly,
• Coordinate delivery across:
                       - Global platform teams (Poland) for reusable platform capabilities and API standards
                        - APAC Integration Engineer for PSP/merchant integrations executed in-market
• Lead discovery-to-launch cycle: requirements of clarity, scope control, stakeholder alignment, UAT readiness, and go-live criteria.

3) Payments Product Depth (Lifecycle + Operations)

• Own APAC payment lifecycle outcomes: authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks, async status, webhooks/callbacks, and reconciliation/settlement interfaces.
• Drive product improvements based on data: failure reasons, approval rates, latency, onboarding conversion, dispute rates, and operational frictions.
• Ensure regulatory/compliance inputs are reflected in product delivery (KYB/KYC, data residency, auditability, risk controls) in partnership with Compliance and Operations.

4) Go-Live Readiness & Cross-Functional Execution

• Partner with Sales/BD, Operations, Compliance, and Support to ensure market launches are operationally ready (processes, training, runbooks, escalation paths).
• Own partner/PSP integration readiness from a product standpoint: documentation quality, contractual/operational prerequisites, rollout plan, and merchant onboarding experience.
• Drive incident learnings into product and integration backlog (continuous improvement loop).

Required skills & Experience

• 5+ years as a Product Owner / Product Manager in payments, PSPs, fintech, or payment platform environments.
• Strong understanding of payment flows and real-world edge cases: async payments, webhooks, idempotency, retries, reconciliation, refunds/chargebacks.
• Proven experience delivering products with distributed teams (global platform + local execution) and balancing speed with standardization.

• Experience with APAC payment ecosystems and schemes: PayNow/FAST (SG), FPS (HK), PromptPay (TH), DuitNow (MY).
• Knowledge of settlement/reconciliation practices and reporting formats (files, APIs, callbacks).
• Experience working with API-first platforms and standards (OpenAPI/Swagger, versioning, error models), even if not hands-on engineering.

Role description

We are a small but efficient product team responsible for key digital services in the Digital Values area. You will be the only product person in this area at the moment (but we are growing). The team is characterized by a dynamic approach to product development and direct impact on strategic business decisions.

We are looking for Product Manager for the TopUp area (mobile top-ups, gift cards, energy top-ups, eSIMs). You will be responsible for developing and managing products that require close collaboration with banks, telecom operators, and energy providers. The role requires independence in making product decisions and the ability to navigate a complex partner ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

• managing the full product lifecycle in the digital values area (topup, gift cards, energy top-ups, eSIMs),
• defining and prioritizing the product roadmap based on business and user needs,
• creating and managing the backlog - writing detailed user stories with acceptance criteria,
• analyzing product data and business metrics - making data-driven decisions,
• identifying product development opportunities and new business possibilities,
• coordinating integration processes with external partner systems.

What We're Looking For:

• minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Product Manager or Product Owner role,
• documented experience in managing product roadmaps and prioritizing initiatives,
• proficiency in writing user stories with acceptance criteria (AC) and backlog management,
• experience in collaborating with development teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies,
• ability to analyze data and make decisions based on product metrics,
• knowledge of integration processes and working with external partner APIs,
• ability to work independently and make decisions under uncertainty,
• stakeholder management skills - collaborating with business partners at various levels,
• English language at a level enabling fluent communication with international partners.

Nice to have:

• experience in fintech, telco, or energy industry,
